my friends b20vtec clank like a diesel is it normal.
i wanted to make sure this this a normal condition with the b20.
it has eagle rods , je pistons, and a gsr crank in it. with a b16 head.

If the noise is abnormally loud than you might not have the correct rod/main bearing clearances on the bearings.

it's not noisy as in something is lose or not tight just a tad bit loud for some reason it doesn't sound like it's coming from the bottom end sounds like it's from the head. i might be wrong. this motor has about 7000 miles on it and have been boost to 10 psi with no sign of problems .
