Default My experiences with Golden Eagle

I would like to share my experiences with Golden Eagle ... a company that I would definately do business again.

Just before spring break ... my all motor "Toda" engine went (snapped T-belt). For at least a week ... I was debating to either stay all motor and drop in some pistons/rods or just sell everything and start a new project with some boost.

I finally decided to sell all my N/A goodies and start my path on the dark side. I bought some nice Eagle rods, some Endyn pistons ... and decided to have my block resleeved and overbored to 84.5 MM.

I sent out the box (block + pistons) to GE by 3 day air ... and they finally received it on the 17th. Time was getting close ... the dorm closes on May 3rd ... so I was starting to get worrid. I finally called GE up and spoke to Ted to talk about my "unusual" situation.

After a couple of phone calls and upgrading the standard shipping to 3-day air ... Ted got my block resleeved and also bored/hone to my specs in 8 days!

Today is Tuesday and the block was shipped out today!

All I can say ... "Thank you Golden Eagle".

Yah GE is great. I went down there about a month ago to check out the faciltiy. I actually went to check out Import Builders, but since I was down there I thought I would stop by and also check out GE. Those guys were nice enough to give me a tour of the place. Really nice place and nice people.
