My dyno session, pics vids
I brought the car to get IC piping and its first initial tune on it.
Waste gate pressure(10-11psi)
s300
s400sx
fullrace mani downpipe
1000cc
b16
type r head with gsr cams
quoted from another thread-
Chris and Taylor got busy tonight, and got the new charge piping fabricated with the water:air intercooler system...
TiAL goodness...
The fabrication master visualizing what route to take...
Chris working on mocking up the cold-side charge piping...
The hot-side charge piping...
Cold-side charge piping tacked in place...
Chris hard at it...
Blow-off valve location...
Mocked in place...
Chris laying the beads...
Final welds laid...
Mmmm...
Taylor getting the car prepared for dyno time...
Warming up...
Taylor removing the headlight...
Oh... Well look at that...
On the rollers...
Rolling...
Filling up the water:air reservoir...
Intercooler nice and frosty, time for pulls...
Dyno pull on low-boost pressure...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LSsQD-9ZNrQ The dyno session was cut short by a police officer (who was extremely friendly, and interested in what we were doing... But the apartment complex full of people thought it less interesting, haha). So, expect some great numbers coming up shortly on higher-boost pressure.

Why did you put the intercooler where you did? Surely you could have put it in the engine bay, kept the piping shorter and NOT reduced the efficiency of your radiator by putting a big f'in wall in front of it.

That is such a big turbo for that Motor...Im in to see the higher boost pulls. Im curious to see if your motor will take it, or if all that air will just escape out of your turbo.
Very nice parts though. looks good, GL with the setup.
