Hello, heres my problem. I have an oil drain kit from fast-turbo and I am using it along with my greddy kit. Well anyways there is a flange that attaches to the turbo it's self, then a fitting goes inside the flange (the fitting attaches to the drain line) Well I think it leaks from where that fitting goes into the flange ( I never used and telfon tape or sealant on those threads but it goes in very tightly) It doesnt leak much but I get worried that my seals in my turbo are being ruined . I mean it boosts fine, I dont lose any oil besides my tiny leak, and it also holds steady boost. But I dont know if my drain is ok, please help me!!!! Also what are the signs of blowing seals in the compressor?

Yeah I am going to do the teflon tape thing tomorrow for sure. I have been told the drain line angle looks fine from stan from fast turbo.

hey buddy you dont use teflon tape on an fittings, they use a flare to seal.

Thats what I thought too. Stan used to have an install section on Fast-turbo.com and I remember he specifically said do NOT use teflon on AN fittings. They seal on the flare. If it leaks tighten it more.

Yea, the nipple is what seals on the AN fittings. Did you assemble those lines and fittings yourself?
I had a drain that looked similar to that, just at little less of an angle, and I think I blew the turbo seals after like 4k miles. I am not positive that they were blown, but I had some oil sots near the inlet of the compressor.

don't use teflon tape unless you want to blow-up the turbo..... use teflon paste if anything....

I said use teflon tape on where the NPT threads into the oil return flange. Do not use teflon tape on the AN fittings.

i believe its still on stan's site...

you can use teflon tape on the 45* angled adapter because the one side is NPT IIRC. the AN side you obviously dont use it though.

do you have a good gasket between the outlet flange and the CHRA?

I could be completely wrong but it might be leaking from the top where the oil feed comes into and just dripping down.
That might be one thing to check.
But your return looks good to me looks like it should flow just fine without a problem
