My Car is DEAD!
After installing my injectors, B&M CommandFlo, GS-342 fuel pump, cap and rotor, changing the oil in my JRSC last weekend it ran like crap, it would hardly idle. I couldn't figure it out and rented a car for a week. After taking everything off (JRSC and intake manifold included) and not seeing anything out of the ordinary I put it all back on and it ran fine for a day. Then going down the street this Saturday it just quit. There was some smell which I thought was coming from my brakes from not having driven the car in a week but it could have been electrical. I thought I had left a wire too close to the pully/belt or header/exhaust and it melted but after towing it home and inspecting all the wires I could fine nothing wrong. I then thought it was the ignitor so I started the tests in the Helms for the ignitor and coil. It appeared as if the ignitor was bad although there is no real test for the ignitor, just that there is power to it. Anyway, I got another ignitor and put it in and......nothing! I ripped the JRSC and manifold out again thinking that I had pinched the wiring harness that runs along the back of the block in-between the JRSC but found nothing out of the ordinary. I disconnected all the wires going to the distributor from it and the ECU and checked than none of them were shorted out and everything checked out, except the main power to the coil showed that it was grounded but I think that was from the ignition switch because when I unplugged it from the driver's shock tower harness, the test light went out.
I have been down for a week now and have had to rent a car and am having to rent it for another week now! I am starting to think that the replacement ignitor I got is bad too because everything else checks out, but no spark, I pull a plug wire and connect it to a spare spark plug and crank the motor and no spark.
Does ANYONE have ANY advice? I am totally stumped!!!

Thanks Hybridrex! I didn't know that. That will at least give me some piece of mind knowing that it does or doesn't work.
WyKid: Check the sig for the car. I haven't checked all of the grounds yet. I will do that. I have checked all the underhood fuses/fusable links and any relavent ones under the dash. I am not getting a spark when I pull a plug wire and hook it up to a spare spark plug and crank the engine.
Keep 'em coming guys.
Thanks,

ok, i've come up with another. . . . dis. cap, inside of it, in the middle, there is a medal pin that is atached to a spring in the cap. that pin contachs the rotor in the middle of it. sometimes that pin can fall out. check that. . . .
Checked that, the pin is still there and there is continuity to the contact point of the coil and the coil spring is still there and has the correct Ohms per the Helms manual.
