Default My boost keeps going up and up!

Oh wait, that's because my method of forced induction is belt-driven!

Just thought I'd share my results of my personal car's little project. I ended up picking up this JRSC EP3 kit for free (well, for labor. ) and decided to throw it on my K20A2-swapped daily driver.

Here's the results:

That's the last pull I did with her, as I didn't feel like sitting on the dyno any longer (even though it's my own). The little dip up top is from a 10-degree cam angle change from one column to the other, one which I corrected after the pull.

The setup is as follows:

K20A2, bone stock from valve cover to oil pan
No PS
No AC
Pulleyboys 3.2" blower pulley
TDM Tri-Y header
Thermal 3" exhaust
Tuned on K-Pro

Sorry if my topic title was misleading.

i though centrifugal units built boost by rpm, not JRSC's... anyhow looks like a fun daily driver, are your IAT's at a safe level?

I do not have any means of checking post-blower IAT's.

I was wondering about the dip myself as I was looking at the graph, then I saw you explained it.

That's what I call a torque shelf! Nice man.

It's called VTEC. More airflow = drop in manifold pressure.

I got it on about a month ago. Right AFTER the dyno day.

Ah, see, didn't equate because you're kicking it in before 4K.

Roots blowers don't usually build boost by RPM. I'm curious if that's the variable timing crap flapping the cam around. Are you guys reducing overlap by rpm or something?

The big PSI dip makes it obvious to see how VTEC affects things. Virtually zero loss in torque despite the pressure drop.

Although I'd probably increase the boost with that blower (better Gen4 blower), it looks like it would be fun as hell on the street. Especially for the price
