Boost spiking on JRSC??!??
Anyone, or any other JRSC Preludes having this problem? Boost spikes to 8 lbs and as rpm's climb and I hit Vtec boost drops down to 6 - 6.5 lbs. Any suggestions on what it could be??
I have a JRSC, Injien Intake, Skunk2 Cam Gears (set at 0 - 0), Type-S exhaust Cam, Apex N-1 Dunk cat back Exhaust 2.5"
I have the 6 lbs pulley on.

Re: Boost spiking on JRSC??!?? (Supercharged97)
Not on a lude but one of my friends has the 10 psi pulley. I think that is the upgrade. Anyway, he spikes to 12 from what he has told me. But he has know to lie, A LOT.

Alot of times what happens on the base 6psi kits I would see some boost to 8psi because of the back pressure. The cure for that was to upgrade the header and exhaust. Once we put a kamikaze header and 2.5" exhuast that cured it right up. Hope this helps.

Re: Boost spiking on JRSC??!?? (Arturbo)
Thanks for the advice......it is just weird because both of the other JRSC Preludes around the area don't spike. Well, thanks again for the advice.
