The breather ports for the endyne catch can, Don't mind the random bolt
98 jdm Hype R head, supertech vavlesprings, retainers, SK2 valves & Bronze valve guides
Same
Clean as [freak], sk2 valves
Supertech Valvesprings & Retainers
Popping the head on
Exhaust ports are clean!
Intake Manifold on
AEM fuel rail & AFPR obviously, precision 1000cc's
another view
Timing belt on, valve cover on and manifold and turbo mounted to see what it looked like
I know i need to clock the turbo, i put it on for fitment
Its a GT3076R .82

nice set up, Have you thought about the Victor X manifold? Im sure for your power goals you would see nice mid range numbers from that manifold vs the old school skunk2/type-r manifold

Re: (Gott_Mogen)
your missing a timing belt guide washer that goes inside the timing belt gear on the crank.
also- you should ditch the endyne crap(its going to haunt you, mark my words)
the block should have been o ringed.

Re: (DaveF)
the washer is on there, i just didn't have it on for the pic..
everything i heard about o ringing was it was only necessary for high high boost applications.
and yes it is a boostworks b series EF manifold. I don't think that the WG is going to be a HUGE issue.
Dave, how come you don't like the endyne kit?
goals are 400-500hp, somewhere around there.
I have been building this for about 2 years now, havn't had alot of time to work on it due to being overseas etc.

the fact that the fittings are in the middle of main oil drain back galleys in the block,
foward acceleration + oil draining down them holes + crankcase pressure + small diameter hoses(can carry more oil in the air, has more air speed)
i gaurentee that setup fills the catch can in one strong pass on the track, and most likely will overflow the catch can, causing a huge oily mess all over your fresh engine bay.
my car at 450hp was filling the catch can up on one pass(and overflowing)

so what do you suggest for a better setup? i was under the assumption pretty much all of the catch cans ran those breathers off of the two original block plugs back there.

Re: (hatchboy)
a smart decision would be to move the fittings from the drain back hole. to a higher more frontward location on the engine ( front of valve cover) & using large diameter hoses/fittings, will help not carry so much oil with the air. of course you will need a properly vented catch can.

Re: (DaveF)
The man is right, my catch can fills completely in one pass and not only will it oil the engine bay but the whole bottom of the car - looks good though

91 red teg, well ive allways been a crome addict so i have precision 1000cc's, wideband, fuel rail, afpr, walboro 255 etc
Dave, so your saying don't even vent out of the bottom? i ALSO have a set of two fittings and another can etc for the front of the VC, and was planning on running that as well.
