Boy I'd do anything for you to high heat coat that exhaust manifold. Or even Titanium DEI wrap.

Hey Mac, there is so little room between the block and the turbo, I'm trying to hook up that water line kit. Is this going to be okay??

flame resistant hose, you dont say? is that a return line? dont see any reason why that wouldnt work other then its position in the water jacket. Seems to be a good distance away from the turbo where i dont think it would melt either.

It will be fine. Mine dips down a lot further than that. Just make sure there is no kink in the hose.

Calidad, are you selling your current water/meth flow gage in order to get the AEM Water/Methanol Failsafe gage 30-3020?

What does that pump/hose support? Your expecting a lot of the tank 2 pump and pump to distribution block unless you have increased size.

Pressure isn't the concern it's volume, a 1/4" OD hose doesn't flow a ton of volume. The suction side of things is even more interesting.

Well the cooling helps more when the car is shut off from natural convection currents.

A few more pictures, just pre fitting everything to see what stuff I need to tweek and bolts parts hardware I need to order. I know for sure im going to have a 3" V-band clamp welded in the down pipe. That thing is a mother to put on!!

What you should do is use studs instead of bolts. It is much easier to install the down pipe. The same studs that are used on our cylinder head will fit the turbo. I use 12mm nuts as well...

Are you planning on using the 2.5" 4 bolt turbine -- 3" Vband adapter? If so, this is the one to use..

So far, it looks ok for the water lines, B&R fittings will probably chime in as well. I personally like some thermal insulated fire sleeving on those hoses if using rubber. all it takes is one little tear that you don't see or it touching a hot spot for too long and its all for naught.. I did this when i had rubber hoses on my water lines for high abuse and road race events. Saved me more than once

like so..

Worth the extra coin if using rubber lines

Calidad,

I would not recommend using rubber hose with AN fittings. You will need to use AN braided hose with AN fittings.

Also for the feed line and return line for the turbo coolant. It doesn't matter on the turbo which side is the feed and return. So what I would do is use the front block port and run a line to the port facing the front of the car. Then attach the return line to the port facing the engine block.

Hope this helps.
