My 97 b20b vtec build
Hey guys,
First I want to give a big thanks to Society Autosports for helping me get this thing off the ground. I highly recommend Derrick and Chad (ALL M0T0R on HT.com) for any engine work you need done or help with.
My friend Deron (soulpwr) for the stoke kit.
Well this is my build thread. Not many great pictures yet, but I wanted to go ahead and share what I have started. Hope you enjoy.
Fixed dents in rear....used high build filler primer out of a can right now because I have not been able to spray better primer yet with weather and moving. Will do soon though.
A before picture when I got the car.
62MM full turbo kit.... a lot of piping with it, but you all don't need to see all of the 3" piping to get the idea
AEM fuel rail and pressure regulator and some NGK plugs
1000cc injectors
70mm throttle body
VictorX mani
Pro 1 Cams
Stroke kit...
My block fresh from GE with new sleeves. Went from 84 to 84.5
New 9:1 CP Pistons

Thanks man. We just recently moved, so my shop area is being held hostage by boxes!! Almost cleared out though to where I can start working on this again.

I will have a tune for both. Should have it up and running by the end of the year. Right now our tentative plans are to run around 15 PSI for the street, and knock it up to 25 psi for the track. Once we get it up and running with the tune though, we will see. There is nothing right now that should cause problems with us doing that.

Bro, trying having to look at it each day. I've been stripping the old paint off this weekend. Hope to have a good bit done by this coming weekend.

Sounds good, I'll still be around waiting to see the finished product. Build threads are hard when you do things in real time. A lot of these dudes have long finished the build and just upload the progress pics after the fact for entertainment.

It's coming. I've been spending a lot of time here lately just taking off old paint and fixing panels. I'll have some updates soon. My air compressor broke, so I have to get a new one.
