Mustang fuel pump for boost?
I swapped out my stock honda pump for a free 8cyl stang pump a pal gave me. With a few slight mods she went in no sweat.
I'm not so sure of the specs on the pump, I think its somewhere around 90 ltr/hr and 100+psi. I think, but if someone has the spec I would be glad to get them.
I'm just wondering if this is good enough for around 7-10psi with a vortech fmu and stock injectors on my D16Z6. I'm getting some detonation at high rpm, but I do have the timing turned back now to about 10 deg. You can hear the difference in the pump when its primes. If it pushes 8cyl then why not 4? If not I'm off to buy an inline ( I can get an inline carter for 140 canadian).

Re: Mustang fuel pump for boost? (Hybrid)
I'm not sure of the specs of that pump, but all intanks I have seen cannot hold the pressures of the FMU. A 12:1 disk at 10 psi is over 150 psi fuel pressure, it won't flow **** at that level. Spend the bit of money on the inline.
