Multiple Choice? B. or D.
Well what would you do? (looking for 250-300WHP)
I blew up My SOHC with 14lbs and now I have all this turbo crap.
Here are my options.
Build up a Y8 - Put low comp pistons & rods in plus a block gaurd.
or
Do a B-series swap - Run stock internals on a B16 or GSR
(whichever woln't make me broke) run a thick head gasket & block gaurd.
DETAILS: 450cc DSM's, walboro pump, AFC
(stepping up to hondata with new setup)
t3/t4 intercooled.
I already have a Y8 head and a Z6 bare block with internals from nathan
(turbopanda), problem is the block needs to be bored, making the pistons useless.
The question is. Is it worth it to keep effing with this d-series stuff? or should I get a B block?

Dont be *****, go b-series. Blowing up your engine, that must be the stupist thing i have ever heard. You need to learn how to tune...not the turn up the boost controller method.
yo you don't even know what your talking about. the reason my motor blew was cuz I used NAWS. it wasn't a tuning issue
(j/k inside joke)

For the price of the swap you can always sleeve the Z6 block. Depends on what you want to spend really. Obviously B series is the way to go, but I will probably never spend the bucks on one.
