are msd wires worth it
im in the middle of doing my current setup. i have a jdm gsr with a skunk 2 intake jg eldebrock tb blaster ss coil msd digi 6 and a 75 shot of n2o. i am wondering if i should get msd wires or are they worth it. if not i will just get a new set of oem wires. any help would be greatly appreciated
damn there was a post about this along with the NGK wires, and someone or some palce did a dyno chart to find that the stock wires were better I believe, I will try and find the topic for you.
I had the MSD wires...they're nothing special if you ask me. Wires are pretty much wires for the most part, but i'd stick to OEM, maybe NGK blue's if it came to that.
ya i heard that ngk blues are good wires maybe i will get a set of those just wanted to see what u guys thought. thanks for the help

I believe stock wires are made by Sumitomo, which are also damn good. No reason to buy different ones.

The magazine TPR (tuner performance reports) just did a comparison of a bunch of different wires. If I remember correctly, the MSD's did the best. I cant remember what the gains were. (i will try to find the magazine later) I do remember that they didnt test the Nology wires or several others. I dont recall them testing ngk wires???
