Default msd ignition system

ok a friend of mine traded with me a brand new msd 6a ignition msd distributor less cap and msd ss blaster coil i want to know if i should just install it now or wait until june when i get my turbo setup install that and i wanted to know if there was any tuning need once installed

dont see why you couldnt install it now.

On a side note with your 6al did you get a white connector chip?
I purchased a used one without this chip, so if anyone knows where to get one please pm me.

what does the chip go to whats the perpose of it and nope didnt get 1 or aleast i didnt notice it

summit racing has them, or your local autoparts store can order them from msd. They are called rpm pills. I have a few laying around I believe 7,800rpm- 8,400rpm.


And yes go ahead and install the msd, it may save you a little gas, and there is no tuning required. I ran one on my car for about a year before being boosted, and it's still working great 5 years later
