so what you are asking is if you have a points ignitions, or magnetic pick up yes?

I can't say for certain, just trying to help you get answered, but i am pretty positive we have no magnets

yeah... i know we have no magnet... (isnt this the sensor on the flywheel that some cars have?)

so where is the "ignition trigger" ? that i need to hook up the white wire to?

I think your thinking of the crank position sensor, which is on the other side of the engine.

they don't offer you direct help, but you if you contact them it says they will send you the info for your application.
