Default msd 2-step wiring help!

Im looking for some info on how to hookup a msd 2step to my e-brake in my new crx. I had this setup in my 93 hatchback "before I totaled it" and it worked great.
I think I found my information on how to wire the e-brake up with a relay on this site a while back, but I cant find any paperwork on the set up here at my house. If anybody has some info on this please help me out.

I believe you would just wire the ground wire from the 2 step box to the wire on the ebrake, then wire the power wire from the MSD box to switched 12 Volts. I had mine setup on a momentary switch and it worked well also. I think the ebrake would work better though, or your clutch switch.

Just use a test light and find out if your wire on the ebrake is grounded when the handle is pulled...

i have mine on the momentary switch as well but i don't htink it will work on the clutch switch because everytime you shift, it would engage the 2step.

Yeah that is a good point. If you wanted to use it off your clutch switch you would have to wire a toggle switch and turn it off after launching.

I had my 2 step setup pretty high though so even on the clutch it probably wouldnt have been that bad

the 2 step switch is a hot wired switch it has to "see" 12 volts to operate it.

if you wanted to use the e brake, you would have to use the wiring in the handle for the light but you would have to make it to pass 12 volts and not ground out when raised

what i did was fab a little bracket that hangs off the front of the slave cylinder on the tranny and used a NOS microswitch, and just ran 12 volts from the fuse box thru the switch and to the 2 step box. (breeeath)

you CAN use your factory "neutral safety switch" in your car but you will still have to pass voltage thru it, and its a pain in the *** to work up under the dash.

my 2 step is set at 6200 rpms and when i shift, only for a brief portion of a second does it engage but it doesnt affect anything.

i run 11.0s in myhatch and i probably couldnt build much boost without it
