Default Msd 2 step?

You guys that are running the msd 2step..what are you activating the switch with? your clutch? or? also what rpm do you have it set for? Im running s300 but im only building about 6psi on the line, with the launch control. I want to build more boost.

How much boost do you guys build with it? Thanks..

in my s300 im launching the car at 6100...i tried put my slicks psi down to 10, and i kept bogging. even with my preloading and slipping the clutch. in s300 you can't cut spark right? I just want to be able to launch the car with less tire psi so i can get my 60ft down. im only cutting 1.98-2.088 60fts with 24.5 slicks

turn that rpm to about 7,000. if the timing is a retard number put 15 in there and see where it gets you.

pull more timing and add more fuel. what size injecotrs do u have? pull 30* add some fuel and u will see the difference. usually 30-40* of timing pulled will generate good results. whats ur wastegate spring set at?

I have rc 750cc..I have a 7psi spring with a manual boost controller. I'm running 14psi on the track...So by putting 15 in the timing box that should pull timing?

if the number is timing in degrees, yes, put 15 in it, which will retard 15 degrees. it will definitly pop, and build 10-15 psi of boost, (which i think may be a bit too much for 24.5" tires) id say try to build 8-10 psi, bump the rpm limit to 7,000- 7,250. the more retard you give it, the "bigger" the pop, should build boost real quick with a huge retard in it.

Ok thanks alot....In the hondata tables with the launch control, by the timing it has the insert table then they have notes that say...degrees (negative values retard) so should i put a negative (-15) sign infront or just (15)?

i pretty sure u put negative value (havenet tuned a S300 in a few months).

u can try 15 at first then take away some more. if u wanna save ur turbo dont pull too much degrees and only get on the 2-step when u r about to race. dont show off haha
