i used to have a drag kit but now with that manifold ive heard you have to get new piping and downpipe from people ....however the guy there(maxium perrformance) says it sits in the same place as a drag exhaust manifold.......just wondering also

I have the same manifold. For the short time my car was running, I had no problems with it. I had a fire in my engine bay and it held up great!

did you have custom work done for the piping and downpipe or do you know if they make either for that manifold? because i just recieved it and it is nothing like the position of the drag its at a diffrent angle and sits about 4 inches lower.....wtf oh well time to spend more money damnn it

The angle is definitely something you have to work with. Although, you will have to run a slim line fan if you plan on using this manifold because of the wastegate placement. Yes I had the downpipe custom fab'd along with the ic piping. I don't know much about the company, the price wasnt too bad, it was equal length and tubular, and I have no ac, so I got it. I'll get some pics for you soon.

That picture above is my friends car. He has the greddy intercooler and piping. The only pipe he had to modify was the pipe from the turbo to the intercooler because of the way his turbo sits. He already had his turbo facing that way from his previous manifold so he had to do it the same way so that his downpipe would line up correctly. If I remember right he said that the downpipe pretty much lined up dead on, but he didnt have a normal manifold before either.

thanks for the help i though it was fishy that he was telling me it fit the same as the drag i thought that would be hard to do equal lenght but he just brought it to me and it was diffrent but oh well i hope equal length is worth this trouble.... did your friend(newsense) or have you (turboeg) expirenced decent gains with it ?

That's my car in the pic that "newsense" posted. I talked to the guys from L'natural at Battle, and they said that they knew of someone that had the manifold and made 20hp just from bolting it on. More psi, more gain.

newsense, how's the beast coming?

Finally got the block back from the machine shop. The girdle is on with the dowels and all the main caps aligned. Now I just have to wait for these god awful bearings. The head was shipped to me today so I expect it in about a week.
