Mounting a stock RX7 intercooler on an EG Hatch.
If anyone has done it, where did you put it? And how?

an easy option is to cap off the stock inlet/outlet and weld on new one with your specific orientation.. that would give you more options to use for location

Yeah I think that's what I am going for. I want to keep it out of sight a little bit.

I'd paint it black and mount it on front of the radiator. Or if you dont have a/c in place of that, but you could get a lot of heat from being so close to the turbo and what not. Just mount it where ever it will fit. Post some pics when done. GL

But how much did you pay for it?
You could have had a brand new JRC 6" for $200, but you probably paid a lot less than that.
I've seen it done under the passenger headlight as well, if you dont have AC or any other garbage next to the radiator, paint it balck and stick it there. It will be a lot easier and you probably won't have to cut anything.
