Re: Mounting Intercooler, JDM front. (Mr.DC2TurBo)
well I have the usdm bumper support under the bumper with the sides trimmed
and no foam to fit under the bumper. I basically drilled to holes into it and
two holes in the tabs on top of my intercooler and mounted it like that. No
problems so far.

haha yeah, those bling blings were pretty wild, i couldnt pass them up though.
i didnt have those grids on the car but i think like two weeks before that damn thing got yoked, i didnt even get any good photos of the car when it was done.
but i will say, im really glad i ran with those gumballers that came through, that single day made all the blood sweat and tears worth it.
ive been really tempted to build another integra.....but if i do build one, it will be for road racing, and id hate to sink all sorts of money into a jdm front end again if its just gonna get all chipped up.
plus, even if i try to copy my old car, it will never be the same feeling...
your car still looks hot though...even though the s2k handles much better and the chicks dig the drop top, i do miss my car.

if you got hte jdm bumper support. go to hom depot and get a 1.5 or 2 inch thick strip of metal. have someoen tack slip it through the jdm bumper support and " fill up" the slot and have someon tack weld it. or you can just drill both sides and nut n bolt it. then you can mount your intercooler to that.

In this picture it is tilted. The body shop mounted it to the wrong hole in the bracket. I fixed it that night but this pic was taken minutes after leaving the body shop.
