I just finished putting the Newly Built Motor into my 1992 Nissan Sentra SE-R! I will be getting my new Hotshot Performance turbo kit today and installing it today and tomorrow! I will post pics when it is completed!

I hope so! I forgot how easy it is to drop the motor in! Hell, I've done it so many times, it is like 2nd nature!

I want to have the car completely functional by this weekend! I need to break the motor in and then it goes on the dyno for some tuning! I am shooting for 500-525 whp! I will keep everyone posted!

Why woudl it be the wrong forum? We are talking about a fully built motor that is going to produce a lot of power with a lot of *BOOST*!

Damn, what kinda mods did you need to do to the engine for it to support that kinda power, and is this a track only car?

The list is pretty extensive! It is FULLY BUILT and ready to handle whatever I throw at it! It is still a Street car, but I will not be driving it everyday!

Hey Louis, how "boost-able" is the new SE-R SpecV? Does it need major work to accept a turbo or can it handle a turbo relatively easily?

 

 

There are no manifolds available for teh QR seires motors yet! The bore and stroke are different to the SR20. Supposedly because of the rod length and stroke, it isn't supposed to be the greatest for boost, but how can you pass up 2.5L of displacement along with some boost? I think it will be able to handle a low boost system and make some pretty good numbers with little boost!

Thanks Guys! I will post pics as soon as I get the car put together! I just sent the IC pipes to the powder coaters and the downpipe to HPC to get coated!
