motor idles wierd
ok, now i know i have asked this in a few other threads but to no avail, every option that everyone has given me to try has come up not helping.
What is happening is this.
I have a 1992 civic; 2000 b16a2 with a drag gen 3 kit, fmu, safc, and 255 lph in tank pump, and a 170 lph inline pump, aebs manifold, stock injectors, stock throttle body and p30 ecu @ 11psi
The issue is this. The other day, i was drivng along and the car started to misfire. I thought it was just a minor glitch or maybe a fouled plug. Took the pkugs out. Plugs were fine. Car would only idle at like 550-700 rpm. Later that day the car threw a tps code and an o2 code. changed out the tb with another one that i know worked. Didnt help it. Changed out the o2 sensor. nope, wasnt the fix. Figured id check the cap and rotor. Changed them and it still didnt help. So i yank off the iac valve and the rubber figure 8 gasket between the mani and the iac is missin. put a new gasket and cheaned it out and re installed the iac. Car idled at like 1100. So i changed out the stock tb again and now the idle sits about right for the car.
The big issue is this. I have an air fuel gauge and b4 this insident, the af gauge was always flashing between stoich and rich at idle. Now after i changed out this stuff, its solid rich at idle. when i pull away from a stoplight, when i go to shift, the af gauge flashed back and forth between lean and rich. when im getting into boost, the car runs great. Decel is where the car seems like its missing the most, possibly backfiring.
Could it be a faulty fuel injector? fpr? how about fuel filter that could be causing this? Im stumped and i need to get my fuel mileage back up to where it was b4. I got a whopping 76 miles on my last tank of fuel. Aso, when the car is shut off and then restarted after about 15-30 mins, it acts as if there is fuel in the cylinders bc it fires right up and doesnt have to crank over like it used to.
PLEASE HELP. Going insane in sd

Don't wanna be the first one to tell you this but, most boosted members on here dont use an FMU and safc. Maybe thats why nobody is able to help you. Your best bet is to get a real engine management system ie. Crome, Uber, or any other bling system. Sounds like you have very unhealthy conditions that needs a good setup to control the fuel flow. Good luck mang.

This is not the answer you are looking but I have a similar setup and mine is doing the same. I have d16z6 with tdo4h (greddy kit) Im also using a fmu, stock injector, and vafc. People told me to get rid of the fmu. What I also learn is that when tuning ur afc you suppose to work on the negetive side to make it run lean and not rich. I know that is a wrong reply but I thought maybe it can help a little. Also I read about the afc it advances timing.. I talk to this guy he told me to use missing link with bigger flow injectors (dsm 450) and the afc. and it should run right. But my problem with my car is that my vss (speed sensor) jumps up and down and then it died just yesterday. So what I did was replace it and did the whole nine yard of testing to find the short or ground. On the second sensor It does the same so what I did was bolting my ecu back in the mounting place. Reason for not doing it the first time is because I wanted to see the afc work.. And that corrected the vss sensor. But my other problem is still the code3 on CEL. I only get code3 if I hit 9 psi. Under that Im fine. I know that this reply work help but maybe someone can help us here. email this guy turbo hack question hes pretty good. paulvang@yahool.com

Re: motor idles wierd (civicliveit)
figured it out, i had bypassed the map with the check valves and one of them was tucked under the intake manifold and i couldnt see that it had come off. ill plug it up tomorrow and see if that helps anything.
