moroso oil pan users
Might have a sealer on them. I know on the 2 ive owend, they would leak slowly with out a sealer. Maybe they have a dap on them just incase you planned on not using them right away? Good Luck
IF you purchased the street pan, with the magnetic oil drain plug, I recommend getting a new plug. The plug does not seal properly and you will always leak oil. Just a heads up. At least that is what I have, and have heard has happened to quite a few ppl.

Yep, their oil drain plug is a piece of ****. Just use the proper sized allen socket and a big bar.

anyone problems with them leaking oil? ive tried everything stock gaskets, moroso gasket, hondabond everything, notthing seems to work? might just go back to stock pan
SFFWD996 - Use gasket sealer( i use this kind called The Right Stuff) or honda bond and trace the entire pan with it then put on the rubber gasket. Let set for a couple minutes, then put onto the block and only hand tighten the pan , wait ten minutes or so and then tighten in the honda torque spec.
and to take the plugs out of the pan I just used some big vice grips and twisted it off

From my experience using sealer of any kind causes oil leaks. Anytime i have seen pans leaking at the block it was because the gasket was pushed out or some type of "sealer" was used. Clean the surface on the block and the oil pan, get a brand new OEM gasket and torque it to spec. Fixed any leak i have ever had. I have had 2 moroso pans that never leaked on me.
the plug comes out very easy with a 10mm or 12mm allen key(cant remember which one) it turns real easy, and as far as the leaking thing goes every time i fixed an oil leak it woulod start leaking somewhere else, i could never get it to stop leaking
my pan wont stop leaking.. err its pissing me off. Ive done gasket no sealer, leaked. I did gasket with sealer on both sides still leaked now im going to look the pan over for a possible bend in the pan rail or bad weld.
cant stop my moroso pan from leaking either. sealed 3 different times 3 different ways still drips out of the seal
only got the pan for the extra .5 qt. not worth it imo but i got it now...

Mine came with the plugs not in it. But this is the F22/H23/H22 pan...
The oil temp hole leaked for a month... I put liquid tephlon and tephlon tape and had no luck. I had to use a lot of tephlon tape and really tighten the hell out of it to get a good seal.
As for the drainplug, mine had never leaked once. Your supposed to replace the crush washer everytime you remove the plug.

yeah i dont know what everyone else's problems are.
my pan leaks a little bit from the drainplug because i used the copper one it came with instead of the poly-euro ones i usually use, but other than that its clean and dry under there
