Default More vaccum line questions

I know everyones first response will be to search, but I've tried all over and can't find the exact info I need, so here goes:

First, I tapped my cruise control hose for my BOV and boost gauge, but I noticed that about 8 inches past where I tapped it there is a small white plastic thing in the line, looks like some kind of a valve, but I don't know what it is. Will this affect my BOV and gauge readings, or is it not a problem?

Second, at the moment I am going to use 2 check valves on my map sensor, is that safe for 7lbs of boost (stock Drag 3 kit)? And, if I tap that line before the valves would I be able to attach my BOV and/or gauge there?

the little white thing on your cruise control is a stock check valve for the cruise control. take it out and run a pure vacuum line to your BOV/guage otherwise they won't see boost depending on where in line with the valve they are.

also for the map sensor you only need 1 check valve.

and you technically could put it before the valve but you're better off teeing it from a different source.

But if I take that white valve out will my cruise control function properly? If not is there another line other than the FPR I could run my BOV/gauge from?

What line do you recommend? I already have my FMU comming off the line on my FPR, and my wastegate is off the feed on my turbo.

if you you want everything to be VERY accurate, you should give everything its own seperate vacuum source from the manifold. You could actually go by home depot and get some 1/8npt barb fittings and tap them into your intake manifold.

If tapping fittings into your manifold isn't an option, tee into the brake booster line since its a really good strong source for vacuum or even run a vacuum distribution box. Your BOV, and Boost controller should definitaly get the best source as possible.
