Default missing link question

Do missing links work? I was curious if there's no way around running multiple check valves to the map sensor. A friend told me everyone he knows who had one said they were junk. Thanks

Im running one right now and mine has worked great. I have never had a cel and I never had any problems with it. Just bolt it on and forget about it.

You can use the SMC plus as an electronic check valve by setting the MAP correction to 0% across the rpm range. When you decide to toss the FMU and just use larger injectors, you can set the SMC plus as a forced induction fuel controller. It's a two in one device! HTH

It's just a fancy check valve, really. I had one, and it did it's job- kept the CEL away.

They work just fine. I've been running them for several years now. I actually had a prototype unit of theirs way back in the day

Yeah, they work, but IMHO they're not worth the money. I'm running fish tank check valves from PetsMart that I got for $0.95 a peice, and they're pretty much the exact same thing - just not as pretty. Haven't had any trouble with them yet
