Default Misfires after changing plug: HELP!

I just put in BCPR7E-11s into my GSR with .028 gap.
Started it up, and I noticed that once every couple of seconds, it misses..
(low sounding thump from exhaust).

Does this mean my gap is too small?

for a GS-R, I'd recommend a BKR7E and I gappoed mine at .030
