Default Misc. Supercharger Q's

2 Quick questions about a supercharged car.

1.) Does a smaller pulley (for more boost) also mean a smaller belt?

2.) Is bigger always better when it comes to exhaust?

Did a search, couldnt find anything so no bashing.

Also, it is a stock roots type supercharger.

No. If you go down a few tenths in belt size the tensioner will make up for any slight difference in belt slack.

I have a few misc. supercharger Q's as well (sorry for stealing the thread). I plan on driving my car daily, but then going to the track on weekends.
I was considering supercharging, and I want to know,

1. Which supercharger makes the most even power range? (i have searched, only to find various answers)
2. How much potential does the xxx supercharger have? I want somewhere around a 300-350 range with a b18c1 (gsr)

Thanks in advance

If you're daily driving the car, want a broad power range, and 300-350 WHP you have no choice but turbo. People automatically think blowers have great powerbands, but that just isn't true. I had a Vortech blower on my SI for a while, and it had a crappy power curve. A JRSC can't make those numbers without a stout hit of juice, so you're SOL on the blower side.

If I do get a smaller pulley can it just be a pulley measuring smaller than the stock one? or does it have to be application specific? How much of a smaller pulley should I get? How much boost would I gain?
Sorry for all the q's just curious. I have never been big on superchargers.
