i'm planning to do a minime set up. right now i got a full d16y8 motor. should i just stick with this motor and build it up for my turbo (drag gen 3)?

Oh yeah i have a cx tranny. Would this the best of choice since it has longer gear ratios compared to the other trannys?

i plan to get a d16z6 block and put some low compression pistons with ls rods in it. Also, a blockguard.

what else do i need or should do.
What type of pistons should i get?
