Default mini me boost

hey guys so im in the process of the mini me swap and i want to go boost but im not too sure about turbos, any suggestions on the best turbo to go with for that swap?? z6 head...d16 block...

If the internals of the motor are going to be stock, I would stick with a smaller basic garrett t3/t4 turbo. Perhaps a T3/T4E 50 Trim with a .63 A/R Exhaust housing(with the 4 bolt housing). Its a going to spool quick especially with the smaller displacement of a 1.6L motor and have plenty of room to grow if you want to build the motor later on. It is good about 400-450ish whp.

yeah but not everyone wants to deal with a full swap its easier that way, mini me is a good idea for the money as long as the tranny is a good match.

as far as the turbo i would run a smaller one for a better power band, more usable street power.

yeah, but i figure it will be a fun and cheap project until i can save up for what i really want, it should be fun for the time being :]
