haha, you really did take it word for word. You might want to take out this part tho:
Possibly having Bob Norwood as a guest speaker. Those who I know that will be there are Kenny Tran, Tony Palo, Eal Laskey, Me Art Ortiz, and maybe many more!

Put 10 guys together and we'll bring the show to you. As far as driving time, it just depends on how bad you want to learn tuning skills.

i really have no major knowledge of cars i know what parts do but i dont know how they do it.... i have never been good with a wrench but i love tuning...
i have never done any before. will i be able to come out of this seminar with a very good knowledge of tuning and know how to do it or should a guy like me not even bother because i will get lost.

As Ben explained it to me...you gotta have some solid knowledge of how an engine works to not be lost by the seminar. This isnt a Kindergarten tuning class from what I was told. It's more of an intermediate level class for experienced 'car guys' learning howto tune.

Damn, these seminars are getting closer, just not close enough. Minneapolis is still a good 10 hour drive from Detroit. I'd love to come though, i really want to learn this stuff.

i know the basics
and i could get into little detail about certain things...
plus they could use my car for the tuning example... of how to do it right

Re: Midwest(Northern states)tuning seminar (Paul_Vang)
posted this on the main thread, but anyway:
i'm interested in this as well, the thing is that i will be flying from Venezuela to go over there (well not really, i'll be flying to either miami or SC to meet with my sister and some friends, so the drive would really be from Charleston SC) so i need the date to make my plans.
Can you explain a lil better was is intermediate? i know what a dyno is and how it works, but never seen one, i know how a wideband O2 works and looks, but never seen one, and off course, i know a lot about engines and have some experience. what is this consider as?
IMO i think i'm intermediate, but you guys need to tells us a lil of what we need, or at least it would be nice if you guys do. THANKS

Re: Midwest(Northern states)tuning seminar (GZERO)
The seminar will for sure be after the TX one being held in June. So figure around July or early August.
As for coming from SC, that's a pretty long drive. I'm sure you can fly...it'll cost more, but will be way worth it than driving some 16+ hours to MN.
I will repost when I set the final date. I will talk to Ben and Let everyone know.
thanks,
Paul Vang

I tried to organize a tri-state seminar breifly, but that was rather short-lived.. im positive i can find 10 people MYSELF from this area, but.. i cant find a shop thats willing to host it. I really have to get on the Horn and start to ask around. I will discuss this with Art later..
