I have a JDM B18c in my 92 vx hatch. I plan to boost it, and i am undecided which ecu to go with. I definately want a standalone unit, and have narrowed it down to either microtech or AEM EMS. I would like to know the pros and cons of each. Thanx.

If I were to list the pros of the AEM EMS it would take me all day to type it in.... There are only like 2 or 3 cons to it..
I never heard of the microtech system but ill check into it, in the mean time get the AEM EMS..

Just looked into microtech a little.. It looks like you add options on to it as needed.. I would rather have a system like the AEM EMS where everything is already there for you, no upgrading and spending more money or anything like that..

thanx for all ur help. The reason i want a standalone is because i wanna be able to change the tune as i get new mods. Plus i wanna be able to plug a laptop into it and check my fuel curve, etc.
