Default meth injection?

i want to push 350hp on a stock internal ls block that has just been rebuilt and im wondering if i need to use methanol injection. i know for sure it will be safer but will just a good tune be good enough on premium gas? please let me know i need to know what i need to do as far as the next step goes. i dont want to go to the dyno more times than i have to. thanks

your set up is only as good as your tune. No one will be able to tell you if you will need methanol injection. You never said what turbo you are using or any thing else but even if you did, no one would know if its even possible with what you have...

I ran a DIY meth/water kit (washer fluid) on my Novi 1000 fed Mark VIII. In 85* Florida weather I was able to have subambient intake temps with a fairly small nozzle. You can probably run straight meth or meth/water at that power level and be fine if you want a high intake velocity instead of an intercooler. If you're considering meth because youre making a sleeper and don't want a front mount you should also consider and air to water intercooler setup. Air to waters are much much smaller for the same intake temp drops as an air to air with less pressure drop (save rare exceptions) and less velocity slow down.

EDIT: So no you do not NEED meth injection. An intercooler is usually more fail safe (even an air to water) unless you use worm gear clamps or something stupidly cheap like that.
