Default MBC vs Spring target boost

Hi guys, I am having problems with a cheap MBC with boost spike. What is more effective buy a good MBC or go directly to my target boost via spring.

My car is tuned at 17psi, so a Large green + small Yellow = 16.7 psi.

or hallman or voodoo MBC with ceramic ball.

thanks in advance
Carlos

I like running directly off of the wastegate pressure. I forget why people don't like to do that, there is some reason. But that's my preference. It's what I plan on doing.

I prefer spring pressure as well, but if you want a MBC, I recommend the Hallman

Better to use a hallman. When going strictly by target spring, please remember, it will start to open just before target boost pressure to avoid a spike. So if you have a 7 psi spring, it will open at about 6.8 psi if the boost reference source is not too strong, otherwise it will slightly overboost. For under $80, its a MUCH better alternative than making a guess.
