First off this is sceraxn im on a freinds name. Well i was having problems closing my hood b/c it was hitting the wastegate. Well i shaved as much as i could off the hood and it stll wouldnt close. The only way i can get i to close is by taking off the MBC fitting on the wastegate. My question is can i leave that fitting off? I was told to leave that open anyway if i didnt have an mbc...but i dont know about leaving a hole in the top of it. Can i plug it up with a bolt or someting? What choices do i have? Thanks

If you have a tial wastegate, wire the MBC into the line that goes to the back/side of the wastegate... that's what i did and it worked like a charm. My MBC was homemade with 2 fittings, spring and ball bearing, im not sure if this will help but just my .02

Sory i didnt clarify this...i have a deltagate. Really the only thing im asking is can i leave off that fitting...or atleast plug it up? Thanks.

i ran the top open for a while,,,, then plugged it up,, i dont know the car acted the same for both, then i got smart and went with a TIAL and chucked the shitty *** deltagate,,, (shitty cannot begin to describe that)

 

OK that makes me happy...now i can finally finish this ****. So what problems should i expect to run into with my shitty deltagate. Ive heard that they are shitty but ive never really heard why. I plan on getting a tial ASAP. Thanks
