Maxrev Vs. InlinePro Manifolds
There has been alot of discussion on this forum about manifolds lately and the only manifolds that have been praised are these two for price range that i am looking at... People that run these manifold, how about some info on them
Maybe Pros/Cons, Pics of them polished, flow, Wastegate position opinion, Turbo fitment, Longtivity(longer lasting), Prices, Best design, etc, etc...
Thanks

you might want to also look into revhard mani's...which i believe inlinepro has modeled their designs after....revhard is cheaper...but inlinepro is SS cast...my .02

those MAxrev manifolds looks like the manifolds sold when the first turbo kits just started coming out... like back in mid 1990's

Re: Maxrev Vs. InlinePro Manifolds (95c1v1cs1)
Here is my take:
Both are nice manifolds. If you want to spend a lot of money get the InlinePRO. The inline manifold costs more, $500+ I think. I haven't priced them in a while. Plus you are going to need the more expensive Precision or turbonetics turbo with 5 bolt exhaust flange.
MaxRev, low cost, high quality design. You can run any turbo you want without having to shave half your block off, and you will save at least $150 on the manifold alone. Add the turbo of your choice and you are ready to roll.
I would like to see a dyno comparision of the 2 back to back on the same car. I doubt there would be much difference at all. A log style manifold is a log style manifold. MaxRev, Inline, Revhard, DRAG, they all flow pretty much the same. The differences come from materials and production process, cast vs. welded.
EDIT: Typo.

Re: Maxrev Vs. InlinePro Manifolds (2K_TEG)
we are now offering the 5bolt turbine housing option, to bring a cheaper solution to this problem. check this post for more info: https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=408488

Re: Maxrev Vs. InlinePro Manifolds (2K_TEG)
The flow charactertics between the maxrev and inline pro are going to be not very noticable. The inline pro uses slightly better runner lengths to the collector/flange (its not really even a collector), but in all reality flow shouldnt be that much better. I have bought three max-rev manifolds now, the only manifold i would consider purchasing is Geoff's full-race over the max-rev.

Re: Maxrev Vs. InlinePro Manifolds (boosted hybrid)
Whats the difference in them since one is casted and the other is welded up? Will one last longer than the other?

I have inine pro manifold and I highly recomend it I didnt have to shave any of my block away so i really dont know what thats all about plus with it being stainless steel cast you'll never have to worry about that sucka breakin'

Great way to explain the characteristics of each manifold!
Buy from Arturbo if youre looking for inline pro. He takes care of his fellow h-t members.

Re: Maxrev Vs. InlinePro Manifolds (iC Roger)
You are comparing 2 different manifolds... one is a Cast and one is a tubular.!! the Inline Pro one is great because the ports are very smooth. If you take a look inside the manifolds the Max Rev have alot of turbulance , it doesnt look like it will flow smoothly. For low Hp i guess the Maxrev will do,especially if your on a buget, but if you got extra $$$$ i suggest the InlinePro. Also the wastegate port is closer to the center of the Inline which will bleed of all 4 cyl equally. just my 2 cents

Re: Maxrev Vs. InlinePro Manifolds (camp1320.com)
cylinder 2 and 3 on the maxrev flow ok.....almost a straight shot out to the turbine inlet. 1 and 4 arent so good IMO the inline pro will have more consistent flow patterns from all the runners.
