I have a MaxRev BOV on my b16 and I have no problems with it. At .45 bar, when I have it at full tight it makes a "pssshhh" sound. I loosened the top 2 turns and now it sounds like "pssshhhooo." It might be my imagination, but it seems to have better throttle response and boost builds faster when I have it at full tight. Is it ok to have it all full tight? I don't hear any compressor surge, but I know when I have it loosened it's closing slower, which is probably better for my turbo. I was wondering how you guys are adjusting your MaxRev BOV's and at what boost levels? How is it supposed to sound? Thanks.
