Maxing out my Supercharger
i got a 99-00 b16 supercharger kit. i wanna build it realible but deadly for the streets. Im searching to see if anyone has run a wet system on it.
Bottom end will be changeI have the pistons 10:0.1
debating to shot peened and change the rod bolts on to stock rods or get some Eagle rods
theoldone says to eliminate VTEC, id said WTF might as well went with the LS head
for a better airflow.

What kind of supercharger, Jackson...Vortech? I doubt Larry told you to eliminate your vtec on a fairly mild setup, you'd lose horsepower.

honestly, building a motor for a jackson supercharger is pretty useless..the factory blocks, rods, and pistons are strong enough-they can handle pretty much all the power the jackson can efficiently make, and you probably want to keep the higher compression factory pistons.. lower compression will most likely loose power, as the supercharger can only huff so much air into the cylinders without making the air unusably hot.
have you looked into a larger engine (type r b18, GSR engine, etc)?
or a nice reliable turbo setup? i have personally seen more problems from JRSC's than properly setup turbocharger systems using quality parts. and you can make a LOT more power from a turbo setup. proven time and again.

Re: (redzcstandardhatch)
I met this one guy a local dyno that had a jrsc gsr 9:1cr. Sent his blower out to be built to take 15psi, which it actually did to my surprise (cost him $800-$1000). Rev to 9000rpm and only made 250whp. Once he saw what it made, he told me he was going to sell it and go turbo.
