max effective cr on pump gas with a b18c1?
i've been reading about the effective cr and was wondering what wold be the safest effective cr one can go on 93-94 octane gas?
for anyone that is wondering the equation:
((boost psi / 14.7) + 1) x motor compression = effective compression
I'm just trying to figure out the highest i can go on pump gas without blowing it to the sun This of course will be with aftermarket pistons and a standalone tuned. The reason why i'm asking this is because I want to keep stock compression(10:1) if possible, but still be able to reach my turbo's efficentcy point...if for whatever reason that isn't possible I'll have to lower the compression a bit...basically I want the compression to be as high as possible yet still able to reach the effecientcy point of the turbo...
Hopefully I make sense
