I'm interested in buying a 5th gen cx w/ a sohc si engine on it with a greddy turbocharger. The 5psi that the owner said you can safely run is kind of week (intercooled also). I want to boost more!!!. What do i need? i assume pistons connnecting rods, fuel pump, injectors, and some kind of stand alone. Does the crank need to be replaced also? How much boost can the TD04 turbo go up to before it burns out. Thanks for your help

 

i run 12psi on stock internals and produce 220whp w/ the greddy kit. i only boost more on race gas when at the track...other then that, it's suicide i think

 

I 've people boosting like 7-8lbs with stock internals.. just make sure everything is working right..get a boost controler if you dont already have one..

15g can go upto around 15-16psi and then its done. You wont make anymore power because of the heat.
