the max of a 14b and side mount set up?
i have a built b16 with forged internals on a 14b with a 1st gen eclipse side mount as my front mount. does anyone know what this will max out at? i am on 10lbs. whats the most boost i can run before i max out the set up? hp? i just wanna know how much its good for.

Well, if you rev it to 8500, 16#s + seems to put you outside the compressor map, I.E. overworking it for no gain.

well i had a manifold made with the eclipse flange. i was using the t25 at first but then i sold it cause i got a 14b for free. i just slapped it on since it has the same flange. thanks for the other info though dr_latino. i plan on buying a bigger better intercooler and going with the big 16g.

Ive seen 1g gsx's put down almost 300whp with race gas on those turbos. But realalisticly dont expect much more then 275whp out of it. At some point the turbo will be pushing more hot air then anything else.

yeah i know but i got it for free so im gonna try to get around 250whp out of that intercooler and turbo and then im gonna go with a bigger intercooler and a b16g. thanks for the info though

I'm using the "Big" 16G from an EVO 8 on my D16Z6, that puppy should pull hard to redline on B16 no problem

great! thats just what i wanted to hear. cause i know im gonna max out this set up quick and the 14b is not exactly ment for high rpm's. im shifting at 8500. but i can feel it start to loose a SMALL amount of power starting at around 8000. thanks for the info though.
