Masterpower turbos (the real Masterpower) are made in Brasil and have a decent track record for its use and durability. The only problem is that they were never really made in the T3/T4 configuration that is similar to Garrett, so usually they wind up being a victim of the ebay "fakeness". (most were in a configuration that was akin more to a tractor or truck.. small compressor inducer and housing, with an extremely large exhaust wheel and turbine housings.) Very few of the real Brasillian versions exist in the U.S., so if you have the actual one, consider yourself lucky. Otherwise, you may not get much input on this particular company of turbochargers unless they were rebuids from their original construction.

I used to sell these Turbo's here in South Africa - we got them directly from Brazil

There are combinations that are very close to stage 2 and stage 3 T3/T4's but there are also some odd sizes like the shodan mentioned !

Also just consider that the T70 for example isn't always a T70 Turbonetics/Garrett equivalent in size and flow ! The same with the "T66 Masterpower" its actuallly a 64mm comp inducer from what I remember !!

The smaller T3/T4's spool OK and make decent numbers but the bigger sizes are laggy compared to some other alternatives !

As a bargain Turbo - I think the Holset's are better !
