Mark C or turbo gurus.. I need your help.
I have squential speed pro on order for my car. I plan to sell my supercharger soon and will be going turbo. My plans are to boost aprox 18 to 22 psi. I dont really care about the streetablity as I will mainly use the car for the track. My set up is:
9.0:1 JE Pistons, eagle rods, total seal rings, str block guard, crower cams, crower springs & retainers. I should be able to take it up to 9k w/ the speed pro once it is installed. What size turbo, brand, etc... would you recommend for me. I know you are one of many walking talking turbo genius around here. What about balancing, oil, water cooling.. etc. I would like to piece it together using only the best stuff.
Thanks.

You need to go up to Majestic Turbo in Waco for a turbo lesson Alex.
My suggestion.. Get a T3/T04E Stage3 turbine and a .50 or a .57 T04E wheel in a .60 A/R compressor housing. Make sure to get one of the new "Super" T04E series wheels. They have a 1/4" larger major diam. on the compressor wheel.
I know st00pid runs a 60-1 turbo, but my personal opinion is they are a little too big. I like the "50-series" of T04E's best. I bet a Super-.57 would suit your car well.
