Default Map sensor question

As I stated in my other post I am going turbo and I have a few questions.

This one is reguarding the map sensor. I found a MSD Map sensor for $35, they actually have a few versions out. anyone ever used one of these, http://www.msdignition.com/fuel_12.htm. anyway, Can I buy the 2 bar and use it on my civic?

Thanks,
Sean

you will need to get engine management that can read the 2bar or 3bar map sensor that you use. your stock ecu is set up for a 1bar map sensor and will have a field day throwing codes if you try to use anything else with it.

you'll either need a stand alone setup or some sort of piggyback that intercepts the new signal and then sends a fakey signal to the ecu.

A Honda map sensor is not 1 bar...its actually closer 2bars...one bar vacuum and 11psi postive.

2Bar should really be good enough for the average booster (1bar vacuum 1 bar boost about 14.7 psi)
