Im having problems with my car and i think its either the map sensor or injectors. The car is idleing really low and then it dies out i can tell that its running really rich so i was wondering if there is anyway to test if the map sensor is bad. The map sensor is a Hondata 4 bar and the injectors are 880 cc the car is tuned on Hondata to.

 

Contact the retailer you bought it from or hondata directly and get the resistance numbers you should be seeing then verify them with a multimeter.

 

if you unplug it and it dont affect the way the car runs then its bad...if it was working it would make the motor idle strange

 

the car dosnt stay running long enough for me to unplug the map sensor , if i would switch over to 1000cc injectors to check out if its a bad injector would that work ?

 

When did this problem start? did it run fine before with this map sensor and injectors? are you runing a resistor or a injector driver? more info please

 

the problem started like a month after i got the car tuned and its resistor driven,i switched out resistor box but still the same thing
