Default map sensor

If I'm not using a missing link on a d16z, do I just take off the map sensor and place a fitting a plastic fitting and wedge it into the hole where the stock map sensor goes? It's located on the throttle body itself, but I got that little check valve system from the drag kit and from what I understand, you simply wedge that little piece into the map sensor hole and make it air tight and then plug the map sensor into one of the vaccum ports off a T where the check valves are located.
Can anyone confirm this? thanks
