map sensor ?
ok im new to the f.i side of honda tech i have been through all motor and it got messed up so im goin for boost.. i need to no if i went to a junk yard what kind of car's could i pull off a gm 3 bar map sensor and how do i wire it in? sorry for sounding like a noob is 4am tired as **** tryin to finish up a build.. please let me no what make and model and year i can get the map and then how to instal..
The fact that we carry new 3Bars aside, I wouldn't suggest trusting your new bosted setup to a junkyard sensor. Spend the money and buy a new one. Your MAP and your wideband are a key part of tuning and keeping your tuned engine running safely, so you might want to go with the best parts you can get for these.
If budget is a concern, you might watch the classifieds or even for one of those particular GM cars being parted out (something than ran recently) on your local boards.

ONly GM car ever to have a 3 bar map sensor was the 20th Anniversary 1989 Turbo Trans Am. Many people sell the GM 3 bars new, no need to find one at a junkyard, they range from $60-$100 brand new with pigtail so........
