Default Map bypass valve.

I heard that if the a kit does not have the map bypass valve too much air will flow to the cenor causing a cel. Any place that sells the map bypass? Any installation help tip too.

so when i go tune, they'll fix the cel code when it pops up? Right now if there is no missing link so cel pops on when in it transit into boost.

The valves your wanting are called check valves. Any auto store or pet store with fish tanks and supplies sells them but I've found that taking the check valves from geo storm gsi brake booster vacuum lines and replacing the plastic housing with a metal one from the local pet store. The geo storms check valve is located inside the line, so just carefully cut it open till you find it. Have to run 3-4 for 15 lbs of boost but I'm sure it varies with turbo cfm output. Easiest way it to just go to local auto shop and buy em'

so basically all we're doing is just slowing down vaccum to the map so it doesn't pop cel. Anyone have a write up on how to do this i'm new to this. What i don't get is that i'm only running 5 lbs of boost and it stills the map cel pops up. Any less ghetto way instead of running 3-4 check valves?

You do NOT need check valves if you are having the car tuned with Hondata/Neptune/Crome, etc. The stock Honda map sensor can read boost.

i say u get that CEL fixed cause at 5psi you shouldn't need a missing link/hack.
