Default manual boost controller worth it?

I wanted to know if a manual boost controller was worth it, What's the difference between a manual boost controller and when you change boost psi from the top of your wastegate example: deltagate. If there is not difference why get a manual boost controller then?

With a MBC, you just buy one spring - the minimum boost that you'll be running - and changes can be made simply by turning a ****. If you change it via the wastegate, you have to swap out the springs each time. It's just a little easier with the MBC.

defienetly. it will make the turbo spool up faster. because with the wastegate alone, the wastegate opens gradually as the boost increases. With the MBC, it'll keep the wastegate shut (which helps the turbo spool up faster) until full boost.
