Manley Light Weight Rods and Boost ??? whose running them and what #'s
i was looking at manley rods for my setup and came accross these lightend rods.
lighter than the Turbo Tuff Rods
set-up
b18c
Stock Sleeves
81.5mm CP pistons 9:8.1 cr
Manley rods light or turbo tuff
ls crank
b16 head
skunk 2 stage 2 cams
supertech valves spring retainers
port polish
gt3076r
44mm tial
600hp precision intercooler
780cc injectors
3in down pipe
hondata s300
goal of 400whp on pump around 16-18 psi
goal of 475-500whp on race gas at 20-22psi
Anyone running the light weight rods as opposed to the turbo tuff rods...since im not making crazy amounts of power i need to get through the gears faster and a lighter rod would help me do this.
ideas from anyone...
questions?
setups and dyno # and how long the motor has lasted would be greatly appreciated

The lightweights should be good for 500-600. However, your turbo configuration will control how fast you accelerate and the rods will not make any difference.
