Default Manifold suggestions...

Definately need a new manifold because my 2 year old custom is cracking. Any suggestions for a reliable and quality manifold? Right now I'm leaning towards DRAG3, and I'm using a t-netics wgate. I don't want to spend more than $400...

well how is your DP and piping setup. Those other manifolds might not work if the turbo isnt in the exact same spot. Just weld up the custom and call it a day.

DP is set up on the passenger side, and the turbo is on the drivers side about where the ac used to be. custom manifold is not only cracked, but it's just pretty beat up. i'm not too worries about the ic piping and dp, because i'm going to get that redone anyways.... original dp sat a bit too low, and is all bent up on the bottom!

You can't go wrong with a Drag cast iron manifold! You can always send it to extrude hone or port it out your self!

Try getting one from RPMNYC (718-740-3277) They usually have them custom made by Hotshot headers. The are not the cheesey cast iron things. They are also tubular.

Why is cast iron Cheesy? Cast iron is the strongest material available for boosted cars! A cast iron manifold will out last any manifold!

Get one from South Florida Performance. They make tubular manifolds for a decent price.

Like I said, Drag Cast Iron manifolds work well. I have seen a buddy of mine lay down many 10 second passes within a Drag Manifold that he got back in 1997, so he has had his last over 4 years now!

how is the SFP manifold design? does the turbo go on the a/c side or the other? How much is it?

Anyone here ever heard of MP Racing? they make tubular steel ceramic coated manifolds and are guaranteed against cracks. They said they have dyno tests where their manifold gained 20 hp over a cast iron drag manifold. The manifold does delete a/c. Anyone?
